On behalf of all at MEI I would like to wish Prof. Doug Fuerstenau best wishes on his 87th birthday, which he celebrated today. Still actively involved in mineral processing, and travelling the world, he is a true inspiration.
I am a mere youngster in comparison but last week I hit 70, and I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all of you who sent birthday wishes, via email, LinkedIn, Facebook and mail. I very much appreciate your thoughts.
This afternoon I belatedly celebrated my 70th with close friends and family at home in Falmouth.
